If you haven’t stopped by the store recently, I have one more reason why you should: Feng’s Dumplings. These delicious little packages of Taiwanese goodness come from Feng’s Dumplings in Guelph, and at the Never Enough Thyme food shoppe, we’re selling them frozen in several varieties (dependent on supply), including: chicken, beef, garlic coriander, and zingy ginger. They’re packaged and ready for you to take home and boil!

Feng’s Dumplings have been pleasing crowds at the Guelph Farmer’s Market for several years now, as well as other local specialty grocery stores. The owner, Hsiao-feng, handcrafts the dumplings from scratch and she knows what she’s doing as she is originally from Taiwan and her recipes have been passed down four generations in her family.

According to Hsiao-feng and her website, the dumplings contain natural ingredients and don’t contain MSG or preservatives. These dumplings were born out of Hsiao-feng’s desire for some taste of her home, and since she and her family couldn’t find that flavour anywhere, she decided to make it herself. What began as a birthday treat for her husband turned into request from friends and then a permanent, popular fixture at the Guelph Farmer’s Market.

And now, you can also find these delicious dumplings at Never Enough Thyme – they’re a great addition to soup, a side for dinner, perfect for a party appetizer or even on their own as the main course. Stop by today to see what Guelph has known about for years!
