You’ve probably heard of the Sun Life Financial Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival – it’s the quintessential musical event of the summer in Waterloo and has been for the past 20 years, bringing together the community, food, and the smooth sounds of world-renowned jazz musicians.
But what you may not have been aware of is the Gala that the sponsors host in May to help raise funds for the free, 3-day event that takes place in July. The gala took place in
May and we were honoured to be a part of it, offering tapas-style food at the Starlight Lounge.
For the event, guests enjoyed our Asian dumpling wall and sweet treats like cake pops and chocolate covered strawberries.It was a fun evening listening to the sounds of Matt Catingub with Robin Reid Project. The event also offered auction prizes and we even saw a few people dancing to the smooth songs that Frank and Dean would be proud of.
