As caterers, we often have the opportunity to be a part of community events and personal functions, and as part of that, we also get to see some amazing local venues. One such venue is the elegant and historic Hauser Hall in Heidelberg Ontario that’s used for private functions like weddings and anniversary parties.

The building itself dates back to the late 1800s and was formerly a German Church before it was a residence and then a furniture manufacturer. In 2002, the Hauser Family saved the building from the wrecking ball and purchased it. Following major renovations and restoration, the building was modernized, secured and turned into a venue for private functions.

The facility is mostly used by the family for their own functions, but is also open to the public for other events. With a lower reception area that accommodates up to 100 people for a seated event, Hauser Hall is unique in its setup because it can hold a continuous u-shaped table, which creates a very social atmosphere.

The upper level at Hauser Hall is what used to house the chapel part of the church with a design that’s perfect for concerts, dances and wedding ceremonies.

Located in the countryside close to St. Jacobs country, the surrounding area around Hauser Hall is also perfect for photos and the venue itself adds a unique, historical backdrop.

As an approved caterer for Hauser Hall, we’re always excited to provide the food for events at this gorgeous local venue.
