Though fall has gained popularity among brides and grooms, summer will always be a popular season for weddings. And with nice weather abound more often during the summer months it’s also the time of year when most people host outdoor parties from anniversaries and showers to birthday parties.
In the past, we’ve given tips on how to host an outdoor gathering at your home; but with a large event like a wedding or anniversary party, there are a few more things to keep in mind. And realistically, you should just worry about entertaining the guests and leave the food up to us.
When we host outdoor events, we always make sure we’re prepared. Typically, if the event is being held in a tent then space is being created where there was no space before – and that includes a kitchen. We come equipped with everything that’s necessary to ensure the food stays hot (or cold as the case may be).
If your outdoor event is a wedding and you’re also hosting the ceremony outside, we’d recommend making sure that your guests have chilled beverages and snacks to tide them over in the heat. The last thing you want is one of your guests passing out!
