wellesleyIf you haven’t heard – we’re branching out! Wellesley Gourmet Meats & Cheese is now stocking our homemade lasagna, mac & cheese, shepherd’s pie, and select gourmet heat and eat soups. Of course, the gourmet food shop in the quaint town of Wellesley (home of the Apple Butter & Cheese Festival) also offers many other local goodies. On our recent visit, we found the owners, Bill and Billie Ross, to be lovely and could tell they’re very passionate about their business. It’s cute inside the shop and there are even some gifts for the foodies in your life (maybe that’s you!).

One side of the shop is the New Hope Café and the other is for your take-home groceries. We’ve recently taken home their specialty apple butter sausage and are making caramelized onion sausage rolls with it for our shop. I’ve also purchased their meats to make different soups and meat pies, as well as our usual casseroles and soups. We’re very excited to be cooking with these delicious, local, and international products.

From fresh, local meats and international cheeses, to gluten-free products and catered deli platters, the grocery side is quite impressive and offers many unique items you can’t find at your local grocery store. At the café, you can grab a gourmet coffee and fresh baked pastry to go, and there are even bags of coffee that you can take home to brew yourself.

We highly recommend a drive out to Wellesley to check out Wellesley Gourmet Meats & Cheese. Follow them on Facebook to stay up-to-date on their latest specials.
